autism and rain

Whew. All the kids with high-functioning autism were WILD today, and thinking about it, my only hypotheses were:

  • They are extra wound up because this is their last “Transition to Middle School Group” and they love me and are anxious about leaving me
  • They ALL did not take their medications today
  • It’s a side effect of the rain

And then I remembered reading about some quack study about autism being caused by rain, so I had to look it up. It’s of course not true…or is it????
